Union of Councils for Soviet Jews: Three Murders in St. Petersburg May Be Hate Crimes
Police in St. Petersburg, Russia are investigating three separate murders of non-Russian migrants that all took place the same day, according to a March 5, 2008 report by the news web site Newsru.com. Although there is no clear evidence yet that the murderers were neo-Nazis, the killing of two Azeris and one Uzbek in the city all in one day make it possible that the culprits are part of an organized group.
