Hundreds of Bad Blue Boys, supporters of Zagreb football club FC Dinamo, were seen marching down the streets of Milan giving Nazi salutes ahead of the match with FC Milan. Israel’s ambassador to Croatia, Ilan Mor, condemned the incident. “Horrible and totally unacceptable,” he wrote on Twitter. “This is totally against the basic values of football!!”. But although BIRN asked FC Dinamo’s administration to comment, it received no response by time of publication on Thursday afternoon. UEFA, the umbrella organisation of European football associations, also did not respond to BIRN’s questions by then. Italian media reported about numerous other incidents and fights between the two fan groups, including a report that one Dinamo supporter was stabbed before the match.
